Tax Onboarding Analyst (6 months)
UBS Investment Bank is seeking a Tax Onboarding Analyst to support our Client Onboarding team with client tax documentation covering both domestic and international client accounts. This role will transition into a Client Onboarding role retaining tax documentation collection and validation responsibilities. This position is connected to KYC/AML programs in UBS.
This position is located in our Office in Zabierzów.
Working hours: 8:30- 17:00 and 9:30 - 18:00
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing US Tax Documentation and validation for new/enhancement account opening requests in compliance with US and UK FATCA requirements
- Perform static data setups of client tax details, withholding and reporting codes
- Reviewing existing tax documentation on file for FATCA compliance and contact clients to obtain updated tax documentation declaring status under FATCA when necessary
- Providing support to the front office and to external clients for tax documentation related queries
- Working closely with Tax Control Team and other business units
Requirements:
- BA/MA Degree in Finance or related
- Very good written and spoken English
- Very good knowlege of MS Outlook (Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
- Ability to communicate effectively with department personnel, including escalating concerns or issues in a timely and clear manner
- Ability to communicate effectively with other business area contacts and clients
- Desire to be challenged and to learn quickly
- Professional integrity, understanding the confidential environment of the Investment Bank
- Ability to analyze complex client documentation
- Detail oriented person
Additional Assets: - Familiar with US and UK FATCA regulations and IRS Forms W-8 and Form W-9 requirements
- Knowledge of banking financial product offerings
- Anti-money laundering program experience or KYC data management experience
