Internship in Finance Product Controlling Team
As an intern in the Integrated Middle Office (Trial Balance Service) team, you will be responsible for performing various type of accounting activities relating to Balance Sheet & Profit or Loss controls. The internship will give you the opportunity to get to know the world of finance and investment bank with a truly global firm. You will have a chance to work closely with the bankers and the traders.
Working hours fall between 9:00-18:00 or 14.00-22.00.
The role is located in the UBS office in Zabierzow (Krakow Business Park).
This paid internship will last 3 months with a possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
• Preparing daily, weekly and monthly Profit and Loss reports across various relevant businesses
• Accounting activities relating to cost and revenue controls
• Supporting month end closure activities
• Supporting the teams with daily & ad hoc requests
Requirements:
• Final years' students of Accounting/ Finance/ Banking/ Science/ Management
• Very good written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of the banking industry and the banking products
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Effective analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritize own workload and to work with tight deadlines and under pressure
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Availability to work 40 hours per week
