Internship in Group Internal Audit Team

Your role

We are looking for someone like that to help us with:
- gathering, organizing and managing information
- analyzing and assessing risk and control information 
- supporting more senior colleagues in audit and issue assurance related activities
- performing administrative and data mining tasks on collected data.

Your team

You will be working in Group Internal Audit (GIA) Team in Zabierzow, Krakow Business Park. GIA is an independent function that supports UBS in achieving its strategic, operational, financial and compliance objectives. We do this by assessing key processes as well as governance, risk management, and the control environment within all business divisions and Corporate Center functions globally. We are independent in our work and report directly to the Chairman of the Board and the Audit Committee.
As an Intern you will have a chance to support the GIA Team in their daily duties connected with the audit, issue assurance and other processes.
Our internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you will need to launch your career. Your paid internship will last 3-6 months with the possibility of extension, based on a 30-40 hour week.

Your experience and skills

You have:
- student status or university degree preferably in Law, Finance or Economics
- pro-active / can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- an excellent verbal and written command of English with the ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders
- a passion for data gathering and analyzing, and information sharing
- good knowledge of MS Excel

You are:
- motivated, self-directed and driven 
- very good communicator with the ability to work in a team
- adaptable, able to work across teams and functions
- well organized, detail oriented
