Internship in Risk Control Operations Team
The purpose of this role is to provide support to Market Risk Officers in the UBS Investment Bank along with Risk Control and data management function to ensure Market Risk is properly managed across all global locations. This paid internship will last 6 months with possibility of extension. The role will be located in the UBS office in Zabierzow (Krakow Business Park).
Responsibilities:
• Supporting management of global production issues impacting Risk Systems and Risk Calculation
• Monitoring and ensuring data completeness
• Running daily controls to ensure reliability of complex Market Risk systems
• Ensuring proactive communication to Market Risk Officers during the process
• Supporting senior colleagues in new process implementation and ad-hoc projects
• Participating in operational calls with other global business stakeholders
• Working with senior management and Risk Officers to improve the processes
Requirements:
• Student or graduate
• Very good written and spoken English
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong attention to details and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage relationships to ensure completion of tasks
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing business needs and requirements
• Availability to work 40 hours per week
Additional assets:
• Experience in international environment
• Basic knowledge of VBA
